Bertie is an optimist.  Even in a storm he sees the good in everyone and everything, and will not be persuaded otherwise.  This makes him always a good bear to have in your corner   🤎
Bertie  is handmade by me from a beautifully soft biscuit coloured Steiff Schulte mohair.  He has very unsteady knees, so prefers to sit on a shelf or in a comfy chair.  
His soft saggy belly is filled with steel shot and soft pellets for weight and texture, and polycotton fibrefil for soft huggability.
Bertie is a whisker over 9 inches from ear to paw.
Bertie is an adult collectors bear and not suitable for children due to small parts
